Jesus College, Cambridge Wedding – Shona and Findlay
Summer weddings are on their way..and to start off I was at Jesus College in Cambridge. I haven’t shot a wedding at Jesus College, Cambridge before so it was great to add that college to my ever increasing list of lovely weddings at the Colleges in Cambridge. Jesus College is lovely, and very special to Shona and Findlay because Findlay is a Fellow there teaching Law. It has lovely old architecture and nestled amongst the stunning college buildings it has sculptural installations, making some great backdrops for their photos! It was a real pleasure to shoot Shona and Findlay’s wedding at Jesus College and to be a part of their big day. Pre-wedding Shoot In Cambridge
You know Summer’s coming when my pre-wedding shoots start booking in… What a lovely day we had last Sunday in Cambridge – it really is a beautiful city and just a little walk around and so many beautiful places to have photos taken. My lovely couple – Shona and Findlay are getting married next week at Jesus College, Cambridge. I am really looking forward to it – its my first wedding there and another College to tick off my list of Colleges I’ve shot weddings at. Nash Wedding at Plum Park, Northamptonshire
I had a great wedding a few weeks ago at a venue I have shot many times – one of my favourite venues – Plum Park.. just outside of Towcester in Northamptonshire. A lovely Country House, privately owned and excusively yours for your wedding day. Ross and Louise had a lovely ceremony – I especially loved their personalised vows – brought a tear to my eyes. I also loved their speacial touches to the wedding breakfast table, there was such a lot of love in the room. Below are some of my favourite photos of the day and click here for all the photos. Ely Cathedral Wedding
Right, I’m getting into the swing of 2013 now and to kick it off I had a fabulous wedding at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire. Ely is such a quaint town and all the more lovely with the 11th century Cathedral in it’s centre. What an amazing place to get married – and how lucky for Nicola and Howard, they didn’t seem at all daunted by the grand backdrop, I know I would have been if it were me! London Pre-Wedding Shoot – Nicola and Daniel
Happy New Year! Heres to a Fabulous 2013… Lets hope its as amazing as 2012 with fabulous brides, gorgeous venues and lovely photos! I’m just hoping the weather is ….well less challenging!!….. Although I am experienced in about all weather types now so the British weather can throw anything at me and I’m ready for you!
Here is a fab pre-wedding shoot I shot recently in London, it was a lovely crisp winters day and Nicola put her best Ugg Boots on for the occasion! Isn’t she adorable?

Bedford Lodge – Sarah and Adam
Just as Autumn arrives, I shot a wedding at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket. A lovely venue – Traditional on the outside with Modern interiors. Sarah and Adam had a beautiful October day and everyone at the wedding enjoyed the last of the nice weather before winter comes. Such a friendly family and Sarah looked stunning on her big day! Theobalds Park Wedding – Carol and James
This summer is coming to a close but some of my favourite weddings of the year have been towards the end of the summer. For this wedding I was down in my old stomping ground of East London. The reception was at the fabulous Theobalds Park in Cheshunt, London. It is a very grand venue and you have a choice of using the main house or having your wedding breakfast in a newly converted barn – This is the venue Carol and James chose and It was lovely. The Lime Trees Hotel, Northampton – Lewis and Kate
I don’t often stray into Northamptonshire, but I recently shot a beautiful wedding at the Lime Trees Hotel in Northampton Town Centre. It was an intimate venue with lots of modern twists, but the grounds had some lovely spots to take photos and we also ventured into the local park for a bit of variety, I’m glad we did because there was a fabulous old wall there and some lovely mature trees – both with lovely textures to add to the photos! Cambridge Pre-wedding shoot – Howie and Nicola
I have been sooo busy of late, and I’ve had a flurry of pre-wedding shoots which is great because it reminds me of the weddings that are ahead. Howie and Nicola are getting married in February next year at Ely Cathedral! I’m so excited to be shoooting a wedding at Ely Cathedral, hopefully we’ll have snow??? fingers crossed….
