Caius College, Cambridge – Rachel and Simon
Another beautiful day in Cambridge – I shot a wedding at Caius College. Rachel & Simon had their wedding ceremony in Caius College Chapel and then had their wedding Breakfast at St John’s College – just up the road! – this was great because I had the backdrop of not just one Cambridge University College but two! T he sun was shining and all was well in the world! I also absolutely loved Rachel’s Vintage dress which was short and so darn cool! – it suited the feel of the wedding perfectly and the Vintage theme was echoed in the Bridesmaids dresses and the Wedding breakfast decor. the wedding was so cool and I loved every minute of it! have a look below at my favourite photos from the day.. and click here to see all the photos from the day!

Churmstock… Camping, dancing and beautiful people.
I was lucky enough to be a guest at a wedding last weekend.. The invitation said ‘Churmstock’ – the bride & groom, run an events company – Churmstock Events. They organised the whole thing…They hired the Herfordshire Young Mariners Base in Cheshunt and they totally decked it out – Gerry the bride worked for months making home made bunting and flags and they spent days putting up Marquees, organising food and music and tonnes of entertainment for the kids. The attention to detail was amazing even down to baby sitters for the children in the tents so party goers could carry on into the night and early morning!
Gerry and I are great friends, we both had our first child at the same time – now both are at school…where did the time go Gerry? We lived just a few doors away until I moved to Cambridge last year and now sadly we don’t see as much of each other as I would like. Its not often in life that I see a couple and I know that they are perfect for each other… and when I took these lovely photos of Steve & Gerry I saw how much in love they were, it is such an honour to spend intimate time with my friends on their wedding day!

I absolutely love doing Weddings in the colleges an Cambridge, not only is it just down the road from my home but they have the most amazing architecture and help me make stunning wedding photos.
